What is a kanban board?
A kanban board shows a team's work as cards in columns, one column for each stage the work goes through. A card moves from left to right as the work moves on, so anyone can see at a glance what is waiting, what is being done and what is finished — and when too much is in progress at once.
What is on the board
A Team frame holds a name for each person, each in a colour of its own, and under them a stack of blank task notes. Drag a task off the stack into To do. Drag a name onto a task and the task is tagged with it: the name shows along the bottom of the note in that person's colour and moves with the note, so one person can own several tasks and a task can have several owners. On a board made in your workspace, the names are already your team's.
Moving a note into a frame puts it in that frame, and each frame's title counts the notes inside, so the size of each column is always in view.
